There is a huge open kitchen that can easily accommodate multiple chefs. The 2 bedrooms & loft combined can sleep up to 8. Thistledown Farm's location offers fresh & saltwater activities, walking preserves all on our dead-end road. It's a quiet getaway, yet close to all there is to do in mid-coast Maine.

The massive granite fireplace, cathedral peaked ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, shared with host spacious kitchen and living room, private bedrooms, loft, and private bathroom will make your stay memorable. The reconstructed 1850's dairy barn home features beautiful wide-planked walls and floors, antique furnishings, and old farm decor at every turn. You'll enjoy the rustic elegance in cozy comfort.
Your host Penny shares a portion of the space, however, she spends as much time as she can elsewhere. Penny has a private, self-contained suite off the first floor. Other than her personal suite, the downstairs is an open configuration. When in the common area, she spends time in her office right off the living room. Guests have the entire upstairs to themselves. The whole space is very large and airy.
